The Clarion prep for vinyl storage shed allows you to match the existing siding on your home making the Clarion an attractive addition to your backyard. It's unique design offers an overhang to help protect the doors from the elements and features a loft for additional storage.

The 5'-4" wide door opening can accommodate your riding mower or four wheeler. Offset doors create a large storage area on one side.

Once you receive your new building begin by unpacking the pre-cut framing, doors and hardware. You will also receive a detailed manual with step by step instructions. Each step is explained with clear instructions and detailed line art and has been developed with the novice builder in mind.
Following the manual you will be directed to cut the siding material for application to the wall frames. This step is made extraordinarily easy because the pre-cut walls are used as a template, once assembled, prior to cutting. Simply trace the outline of the wall and cut.
	Truss components come pre-cut with pre-cut gussets to ensure proper alignment during the assembly proccess. Roof trusses are designed to meet heavy snow loads of 45 lbs. psf and 90 mph wind loads.
	Once wall and gable assembly is complete you are ready to begin assembly and placement of trusses. Apply sheathing and shingles. Roof sheathing is 7/16" OSB ( Oriented Strand Board ). Get a friend to help and you'll be done in no time!
Our pre-built door trim insures that you will finish with a professional look when your barn raising is complete. Powder coated door hardware is included with your kit and the manual gives detailed instructions on how to hang each door.
	Install the pre-cut trim to complete your barn raising. We've done the hard work for you so you will be assured of a professional finish.
Roof shingles are not included and purchased locally by owner.

Exterior walls are prepped with OSB (oriented strand board) for application of vinyl siding of your choice. Owner buys vinyl siding locally.

 

Vinyl siding offers the shed owner a lasting durable finish to compliment their home.

Material List:

• Outside Corner - 4 ea.
• J-Channel - 5 ea.
• Starter strips - 4 ea.
• Nails - 1 lb.

Add one piece of J-Channel for each window. For vinyl shakes on both side gables, deduct 50 sq. ft. of lap siding and add shake material, plus starter if needed.

The Clarion model provides a 2nd level loft floor of OSB (oriented strand board) for those "where do I put it?" items.

 

Our Clarion includes a loft to provide additional storage without taking a lot of yard space.

A loft provides an ideal, out of the way area for storing seasonal decorations, small boxes, chair cushions and smaller items.

A 4' deep loft floor is provided at each end of the building.

Optional single hung windows with screens & decorative wood shutters. 

Single hung windows 18" x 27" aluminum windows provide light and ventilation. Lockable frames are durable and easy to operate. Screens limit birds and insects. Decorative wood shutters are pre-assembled.

 

 

Decorative octagonal gable windows illuminate interiors, beautify exteriors.

Our trusses are engineered to handle severe snow load of 40 psf (pounds per square foot) and 90 mph wind loads. High wind trusses are optionally available which will increase the wind load to 130+ mph. Simpson metal hurricane hangers are included when you order the "High Wind Trusses" option above.

Optional Item

Choose an optional wood floor for your new shed kit. Easy to construct and designed specifically for your building.

Our Wood Floor provides a dry storage area, easy to construct and raises the building above the ground to prevent damage from water and ground moisture. Three(3) 4x4 treated runners provide support for the floor joists and flooring. Floor joists are treated 2x4s spaced 16" on center. The standard floor package includes 5/8" OSB (oriented strand board) flooring. The deluxe floor includes 3/4" plywood flooring.

Nails are included. Material is not pre-cut. Floor sheathing is not treated. The floor package will be delivered, prior to your shed, by a local lumber supplier. They will call to make delivery arrangements. Someone will need to receive/sign for delivery.

Optional Pre-cut Treated Wood Ramp

Choose an optional pre-cut treated wood ramp system to match your building. This option is designed so that when you purchase our Wood Floor you can correctly match the height of you new sheds floor.
