You will purchase the siding and roofing locally. This gives you a choice of siding type (wood, see photo, or vinyl).  You select the color and quality of shingles to compliment your house. Also, buying these materials locally saves money by eliminating shipping cost on heavy bulk material.

Clearbrook Component Specifications

Wall Framing - 2x4 construction with studs spaced 24" on center with top, bottom and tie plates. All lumber is premium grade imported from Sweden or Germany. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on all lumber. All lumber is pre-cut to exact size for fast and accurate assembly. Roof gable also shipped pre-cut with mitered angle cuts.

Roof Trusses - Pre-cut, ready-to-assemble. Trusses are spaced 24" on center and designed to handle severe snow and wind loads. Trusses have been approved (stamped for Michigan) to meet 40 psf loading and 90 mph wind loads. Trusses are furnished with metal H1 Simpson hurricane hangers.

Entry Doors - Prefabricated, ready to install. Made with #2 & Better white pine trim and 3/4" solid pine  tongue & groove barn siding. Siding can be stained or painted to match your choice of wood siding or painted a color to complement vinyl siding. Doors have a traditional cross buck design with a stylish arch on the upper part of the door gives a beautiful finish touch when your barn raising is complete. Double doors are furnish for the main entry and a single walk-in door also provided. Hardware is black powder coated hinges and door latch.

White Pine Trim - is furnished pre-cut to length for the corners, door trim and front and rear fascia. The  gable trim is pre-mitered. Trim is unfinished. Stain or paint to the color or your choice.

Hardware - Door hinges and latch are black powder coated. All nails, except for shingles, wood glue and hurricane hangers for trusses are provided. Detailed instructions with step-by-step, 3-dimensional easy to follow directions. We provide a very detailed assembly book.

Shipment - Material is shipped on a compact (32" x 90" x 30") pallet directly to your home.

Foundation / Floor by Owner- I recommend a wood floor for this size building. The Assembly Book shows the assembly of a typical wood floor. Depending on your area, you may have to modify the construction to meet local code.
